NAME

Hillel was one of the greatest scholar lived in the first century. He was known for his kindness, his gentleness and his concern for humanity. A gentile came and ask him to teach him the Judaism in the time while he could stand on one foot. Hillel's answer was the following:  That which is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbor. That is the whole Torah; the rest is commentary. Go and study it."

RELIGIOUS PROFILE

The Hillel Foundation's religious profile is pluralistic.  We consider Judaism as a religion, nation, lifestyle, ideology and culture. We respect the laws and tradition of Judaism but we do not expect from people to keep or act like keeping them. We do our best to introduce Judaism from  differents aspects.
